Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide for Various Capital Project Needs for Fort Wayne Public Transportation Corporation for the Period of January 1 2023 Through December 31 2025 Including Replacement of Computer Hardware and Software Office Equipment Facility Camera Replacement Fare Collection Equipment Facility Rehabilitation Large and Small Vehicle Replacements and the Cad/avl System. This Award Also Uses Cmaq Flex Funding for a Transit Awareness Campaign. the Award Will Support Public Transportation Within Fort Wayne New Haven and Allen County Indiana.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used for 80% Share of Capital Projects (computer Hardware/software Office Equipment Facility Camera Replacement Fare Collection Equipment Facility Rehabilitations Vehicle Replacements and the Cad/avl System. Funds Will Be Used for 80% Share to Cover Wages and Salaries for Outreach Travel Training and Education Services to Support the Transit Awareness Campaign.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Fort Wayne Public Transportation Corporation Assets to Be Maintained in a State of Good Repair So They Are Available for Use by the Public. Outreach Travel Training and Education Activities Will Increase Awareness of Public Transportation and Help New Riders Especially People With Disabilities Access Transit.; Intended Beneficiaries: Fort Wayne Public Transportation Corporation and the Riders Who Rely Upon Public Transportation as Well as New Riders Will Benefit From Capital Assets Being in a State of Good Repair and Travel Training Outreach and Education Services. These Projects Will Support Access for All Riders Particularly Those Who Are Elderly or Disabled to Healthcare Social Services Jobs Education and Other Destinations.; Subrecipient Activities: None.
