This Application Requests Funding for Multiple Projects Including Operating Assistance Vehicle Purchases Technology Upgrades for Paratransit Service Monies to Continue the Accessible Taxi Program and the Replacement of an Accessible Door at the Mits Transfer Station. the FY2020 5310 Funds Do Not Require a Local Match. This Grant Application Is for a Total of $9381036; With $4453430 Federal and $1490594 Local Match From Local Tax Revenues and Advertising Revenues.the Federal Funds Are From the Following Programs: Ffy 2022 Section 5307 Funds in the Amount of $2972012 and FFY2020 Section 5310 Funds in the Amount of $465000.PURPOSE: the Purpose of the 5307 Award Is to Assist With Operating Expenses for Mits in FY2022. the FFY2020 5310 Monies Will Make Traveling and Arranging Travel More Accessible for Paratransit Riders.activities to Be Performed: 5307 Funds Will Be Used to Cover All Eligible Operating Expenses Such as Driver Salaries Fuel Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than 1 Year. 5310 Funds Will Be Used to Purchase TWO(2) Vans for Accessible Afterhours Transportation in Delaware County Cover Half the Cost of the Afterhours Vouchers a New Accessible Door for the Mits Transfer Station Technology Upgrades in the Paratransit Office Two (2) Accessible Minivans for Use as Supervisors Vehicles and Upgraded Smart Fareboxes for the Paratransit Fleet.expected Outcomes: 5307 Funding Will Permit Mits to Continue to Provide Operations. 5310 Funding Will Achieve Decreased Maintenance Costs Improved Reliability Technology Upgrades Including On-line Trip Scheduling Arrival Notifications Etc. Specifically Recipient Must Ensure as a Condition of Being Authorized to Bid or Propose on Fta-assisted Transit Vehicle Procurements That Each Transit Vehicle Manufacturer Certified That It Complied With Dot Requirements for Submitting a Dbe Program and Goal to Fta Prior to Bidding. Recipient Is Also Required to Submit the Name of the Successful Bidder and the Total Dollar Value of the Contract Within 30 Days of Making an Fta Assisted Transit Vehicle Award Using the Required Fta Reporting Tool. Recipient Understands That Failure to Comply With These Requirements May Result in Formal Enforcement Action or Appropriate Sanctions Determined by Fta Including Reimbursement of Fta Funds Used for the Vehicle Procurement.
