This Grant Application Is for a Total Project Cost of $$11631818 With $8627500 Federal (fta and Fhwa) and $3004318 Local Match. the Federal Funds Are From the Following Programs:o Section 5307 Funds in the Amount of $5205000 in Ffy 2017 and $1740000 Is Ffy 2019;O Fhwa STBG Funds in the Amount of $1682500 Is Ffy 2019PROJECT 1 Requests FY2019 5307 in the Amount of $1020000 to Purchase Two Buses. the Local Share for This Project Is $301943 Through State of Indiana. These Funds Will Be Used in Combination With Project 5 Which Uses STBG Funds. Project 2 Requests FY2019 5307 in the Amount of $720000 to Make Associated Transit Improvements. the Local Share for This Project Is $180000 From GPTC Property Tax Revenue State: Public Mass Transportation Fund (PMTF) and Grants From the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) Local and State Funds.project 3 Requests FY2017 5307 in the Amount of $3838377 for Preventive Maintenance Service Planning Operating Assistance and Capital Projects. the Local Share for This Project Is $1138445 Through GPTC Property Tax Revenue.project 4 Requests FY2017 5307 in the Amount of $1366623 for Ada Paratransit and Job Access/reverse Commute Projects. the Local Share Is $885873 From GPTC Property Tax Revenue.project 5 Requests FY2019 STBG in the Amount of $1682500 to Purchase Two Buses. the Local Share for This Project Is $498057 Through State of Indiana. These Funds Will Be Used in Combination With Project 1 Which Uses Section 5307 Funds.grant Purpose: the Purpose of This Application/award Is to Purchase Electric Vehicles Improve Existing Bus Stops and Boarding Areas Provide One Year of Operating Assistance One Year of Preventive Maintenance One Year of Complementary Paratransit Service and One Year of Service Planning.activities to Be Performed Include: Funds Will Be Used to Cover All Eligible Expenses for Purchasing Replacement Electric Vehicles Improving Existing Bus Stops and Boarding Areas and Other Expenses as They Relate to Operating Expenses (driver Salaries Fuel Etc.) Preventive Maintenance Our Complementary Paratransit Program and Planning Activities.expected Outcomes Include: Replacement of Four Diesel Vehicles - That Have Met Useful Life - With Battery Electric Buses Safer More Secure and More Ecologically Friendly Bus Stops and Boarding Areas for Riders and Residents Maintaining Preventive Maintenance Standards Continued Fixed Route and Paratransit Services and Continued Planning Projects for Service and Agency Improvement. Intended Beneficiaries Include: Riders That Depend On/choose GPTC Service for Work Education Medical and Other Mobility Needs Properties Adjacent to Improved Stops and Stations the Greater Community and Economies of Gary and Northwestern Indiana. Subrecipient Activities: None.in Executing This Grant GPTC Agrees to Abide by Section 3011 of the Fast Act (49 U.s.c. 5323(J)(2)(C) Regarding the Phased Increase in Domestic Content Under the Buy America Statute for Rolling Stock. as Grant Agreement Includes an Fta-funded Transit Vehicle Purchase GPTC Agrees to Comply With the Related Requirements Set Forth in 49 CFR 26.49(A). Specifically Recipient Must Ensure as a Condition of Being Authorized to Bid or Propose on Fta-assisted Transit Vehicle Procurements That Each Transit Vehicle Manufacturer Certified That It Complied With Dot Requirements for Submitting a Dbe Program and Goal to Fta Prior to Bidding. Recipient Is Also Required to Submit the Name of the Successful Bidder and the Total Dollar Value of the Contract Within 30 Days of Making an Fta- Assisted Transit Vehicle Award Using the Required Fta Reporting Tool. Recipient Understands That Failure to Comply With These Requirements May Result in Formal Enforcement Action or Appropriate Sanction as Determined by Fta Including Reimbursement of Fta Funds Used for the Vehicle Procurement. by Executing This Grant We Certify That Projects Funded in This Grant Are Included in the 2020 Tam Plan Investment Prioritization Section.of the Local Match All Is Funding From GPTC Except for $845000 From the State of Indiana.
