Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Purchase 18 Fixed-route Replacement Buses Contract for Bus Inspection Services and Spare Parts and Acquire Furniture Fixtures and Equipment for a New Administration Building.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Purchase 18 Replacement Buses for Fixed-route Service Spare Parts Bus Inspection Services and New Administration Buildings Furniture Fixtures and Equipment.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Allow Madison County Transit to Provide More Reliable Transit Service Enhance the Transit User Experience and Provide Better Working Conditions for Employees.; Intended Beneficiaries: Madison County Transit and the Riders Who Rely on the Transit Service Will Benefit From Continued Services Permitting Passengers to Get to Work and Other Destinations. the Furniture Fixtures and Equipment Will Be Incorporated Into a Separately Funded New Administration Building Which Will Benefit Administrative Employees by Consolidated Offices From Multiple Overcrowded Buildings and Providing a Better and Safer Environment for Employees Visitors and Employment Applicants.; Subrecipient Activities: None
