Purpose: Connect Transit Is Applying for FY21 Arp Act Section 5307 for the Operating Assistance for Connect Transit FY22 - 25 in the Amount of $6876361 Apportioned to Bloomington-normal PTS Per Section 5307 Apportionments (table 2) Attached to This Application. the Funding Will Be Used for Transit Operations at Up to 100% Federal Share. This Funding Will Be Used to Continue to Provide Public Transit in the City of Bloomington and Town of Normal. Activities to Be Performed: Anticipated Short-term Activities Include COVID-19 Emergency Response Services and Wages for Employees and Other Operating Expenses. Subsequent Activities Will Be Focused on Providing Transit Service That Help the Community Recover From Severe Social and Economic Impacts of COVID-19. Additionally We Will Use These Funds for Other Operating Expenses Associated With Providing the Support Needed to Provide Public Transportation.expected Outcomes: Connect Transit Expects to Use Arp Funding as Operating Assistance to Allow Us to Continue to Provide Excellent Service While Also Continuing Our Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfecting of Buses.intended Beneficiaries: Connect Transit Intends to Provide a Benefit to Passengers and Bus Operators by Utilizing These Funds to Continue to Provide Safe Clean Efficient and On-time Transportation Services to Our Communities. Subrecipient Activities: There Will Be No Subrecipient Activities.per Arp the Project in This Application Is Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan Statewide Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.the Recipient Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.
