Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Grant Is to Facilitate the Relocation and Enhancement of Traffic Signals at the Intersection of 18TH State in Boise Idaho. This Initiative Is Necessitated by the Imperative to Achieve Compliance With the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards Following Agency Coordination for Bus Station Design. the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) Has Provided the Requisite Equipment for This Endeavor. the Reconstruction Efforts Encompass the Relocation of Traffic Signals and the Installation of Upgraded Pedestrian Controls Thereby Ensuring Enhanced Safety and Accessibility for All Road Users. This Grant Aims to Cover the Additional Costs Incurred Due to These Essential Modifications Fostering an Environment Conducive to Inclusive and Efficient Transportation Infrastructure in the Boise Area.; Activities Performed: Signal Replacement: Execute the Replacement of the Existing Signal at the Intersection of W State ST and N 18TH ST in Boise Id as Part of the Federally Funded Project. This Involves the Removal of the Current Signal Infrastructure and the Installation of a New Updated Signal System in Compliance With Regulatory Standards and Project Requirements.concrete Work: Undertake Concrete Work to Rebuild All Sidewalks and Pedestrian Ramps Associated With the Bus Stop and Signalized Intersection Project. This Includes Demolition of Existing Concrete Structures Pouring and Forming New Sidewalks and Ramps and Ensuring Compliance With Ada Accessibility Guidelines.pavement Work: Perform Pavement Work to Address the Needs of the Project Including the Restriping of Permanent Pavement Markings at the Intersection. This Ensures Proper Traffic Delineation and Alignment With Updated Signal and Bus Stop Configurations.coordination and Planning: Conduct Thorough Coordination and Planning Efforts to Ensure Seamless Execution of Signal Replacement Concrete Work and Pavement Activities.
