This Grant Includes $2140000 in FY2020 Section 5339(B) Competitive Funds Discretionary ID#D2020-BUSC-123 for the Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Island System Renovation and Parking Lot Rehabilitation and Expansion at the Orchard Street Vehicle Maintenance Facility Located at 4701 South Northrup Street Boise Id. Activities Include:- Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Island System Renovation: Renovations to the Existing Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Equipment.- Parking Lot Rehabilitation: Construction of New Pavement and Additional Bus Parking on the Southeast Corner of the Facility Improve Existing Stormwater Retention Pond to Store Water Onsite Upgrade Existing Lighting on the Eastside of the Property and Rehabilitate Existing Paved Areas as Needed.these Projects Fall Within the Highest Priorities of the Regions Long-range Transportation Plan Communities in Motion 2.0 and VRTS Transit Expansion Plan Valleyconnect 2.0.PURPOSE:THE Purpose of This Grant Is to Fund the First Phase of the Orchard Facility Master Plan Which Serves to Outline Improvements Needed Over the Next Twenty Years to Address Additional Site and Building Limitations in the Face of Growing and Changing Revenue Fleet Needs.
