This Is an Application for American Rescue Plan Act Funding. the Grant Amount Is $3932900 Which Is 100% of the Amount Allocated to the City of Cedar Rapids. Funds Will Be Made Available at 100% Federal Share With No Local Match Required and Primarily Directed to Operations and Payroll.this Application Utilizes Arp Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus. the Recipient Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.purpose: the Purpose of These Grant Funds Will Be to Fund Cedar Rapids Transits Eligible Operating Expenses That Are Normally Eligible Under the Section 5307 Program. Activities to Be Performed: Activities Will Be Eligible Operating Expenses and Primarily Directed to Payroll.expected Outcomes: the Expected Outcomes Will Be the Continued Provision of Fixed-route Transit Service at Their Current Levels as We Recover From the Financial Impacts Resulting From the COVID-19 Pandemic. It Is Likely That We Would Have to Reduce Service and Layoff Employees Without These Federal Funds. Intended Beneficiaries: the Primary Beneficiaries Are the Passengers and Businesses That Rely on Our Transit Service for Their Transportation Needs. Many of Our Passengers Are Transit Dependent and Would Have Very Limited Mobility Options Without Our Service.
