Ehn Fr-cara - Emergence Health Network (EHN) Seeks to Implement the Fr-cara Project in Texas’ Region 10 Osar, Known as the Upper Rio Grande Area and Composed of Six Counties: Brewster, Culberson, El Paso, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, and Presidio. Emergence Health Network Will Be Developing New and Expanding on Already Existing Partnerships With Key Law Enforcement Agencies to Train First Responders to Deploy Naloxone to Individuals in Texas’ Region 10. the Population of the Six Counties Has Multiple Oud Risk Factors, Including Higher Than Average Poverty Rates and Higher Accident and Injury Rates That Increase the Need for Pain Management and Accelerating the Incidence of Oud. the Program Manager, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Will Be Responsible for Providing Training and Serving as the Point of Contact for the First Responders and Direct Service Harm Reduction Providers. Ehn Will Establish a Referral Process for First Responders to Ehn’s Osar Program for Screening and Referral. Over the 4-YEAR Funding Period, Ehn Will Train 1,500 First Responders (300 in Year 1 and 400 in Year 2-4) and Supply 8,000 Drugs or Devices (2,000 Every Year for 4 Years).
