It Will Serve 300 Clients Per Year for Each of the Four Years and $1 Million Per Year Is Requested to Enhance and Expand Staff and Meet Community Needs. the Goals of the Proposed Project Are to: Increase Access to and Availability of High Quality Services Behavioral Health and Substance Use Services at Crescentcare That Are Responsive to the Needs of the Community; Improve Health Outcomes for Crescentcare Patients by Supporting Recovery From Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Challenges With Comprehensive Community-based Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Supports; Provide Effective Mental Health and Substance Use Services Through the Use Evidence-based Practices That Address the Needs of Crescentcare Patients; Continually Improve the Quality of Services Through Measurement and Evaluation; and Ensure Meaningful Involvement by Consumers and Family Members in Their Own Care and in Crescentcare’s Program Implementation and Evaluation. the Population of Focus Is Individuals of All Ages With a Mental Health or Substance Use Disorder With a Focus on African Americans, the Lgbtq Population, and Individuals Living With or at Risk of Hiv. These At-risk Populations Are Disproportionately Impacted by the Lack of Adequate Behavioral Health and Substance Use Services in New Orleans. the Geographic Catchment Area Is the Greater New Orleans Area. This Project Could Greatly Assist in Addressing These Gaps and Needs for Some of the Most Vulnerable Populations. the Project Will Serve 300 Individuals Per Year, Totaling 1,200 Over the Four-year Project Period.
