Idcc Enhanced CMHC - the Interborough Developmental & Consultation Center, Inc. (IDCC) CMHC Will Provide a Continuum of New York State (NYS) Licensed Outpatient Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Medical Services to Vulnerable Children, Families and Adults in Five Brooklyn Neighborhoods Seriously Devastated by the COVID19 Pandemic; Flatbush, Crown Heights, Williamsburg, Canarsie, and Coney Island. the Purpose of the Proposed Program Is to Support, Respond to, and Restore the Delivery of Clinical Services That Were Impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. the Program Will Serve 1,000 Brooklyn Residents (500 Each Year for Two Years) With Serious Emotional Disturbance (sed), Serious Mental Illness (smi), and Co-occurring Disorders (cod), Most of Whom Are From Minority Populations and Economically Disadvantaged Communities. Strategies/interventions. Treatment Modalities Will Include Outpatient Treatment for Smi, Cod, Sud, Sed; Trauma- Informed Care; Primary Care Screening; Case Management; Psychiatric Rehabilitation; Social/community Support; and Crisis Intervention. These and Other Services Will Be Provided Using the Following Evidence-based Interventions: Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Cognitive-behavioral Treatment; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Community Reinforcement and Family Training Model (craft); Motivational Interviewing; Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders; and Medication-assisted Treatment. Project Goals and Measurable Objectives. Goal 1: During the Grant Period, the Idcc CMHC Project Will Strengthen the Agency Infrastructure Necessary to Increase Hipaa Compliant Telehealth Capabilities by Offering Both Telehealth and In-person Screenings and Assessments to 1,000 Adults and Children. Goal 2:THE Project Will Provide Outpatient Services, Clinical And/or Recovery Support Services (e.g., Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Case Management Services, Peer Support) for 1,000 Individuals With Sed, Smi, And/or Cod in the Catchment Area. Goal 3: the Project Will Provide Trauma Informed Screening, Assessment, Diagnosis, and Patient-centered Treatment Planning and Treatment Delivery for 1,000 Clients. Goal 4: Every Two Months During the Grant Period, the Idcc CMHC Program Director Will Coordinate Staff Support Sessions on Resiliency and Self-care to Address the Mental Health Needs of CMHC Staff. Goal 5: Idcc Will Provide 8 Quarterly Staff Trainings on Topics Related to Behavioral Health Disparities Including Cultural and Linguistic Competence and Strategies to Engage and Retain Diverse Client Populations.
