The Program Project?s Key Purpose Is to Address a Decline in Continuum of Care Services in Waco and the Surrounding Communities by Extending Recovery Options Through a Wraparound Service Model. - Cenikor Waco Substance Use Treatment and Recovery Project Abstract Founded in 1967, Cenikor Is a Private Nonprofit Behavioral Health Organization Based in Texas. We Are Seeking Funding to Pilot a Full Continuum of Care Through Our Facility and Programming in Waco, Texas. Serving Approximately 10,000 Clients a Year, Cenikor Is the Largest Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Provider of Its Kind in Texas Providing Care for Adults and Adolescents. Our Treatment Facility in Waco Is a 56-BED Co-ed Facility for Ages 18 and Over. Covid Has Had an Enormous Impact on the Rise of Adults With Substance Abuse Disorders. Over the Course of the Last Two Years, the Percentage of Substance and Alcohol Use Has Increased From a Pre-pandemic Use of 25% to 39% and This Number Continues to Rise. the Cenikor Waco Continuum of Care Project Aims to Fill a Service Gap Post Detoxification and Withdrawal for Substance Abuse and Alcohol Users. That Gap Includes Ensuring Adults Can Complete an Intensive Residential Treatment Program, Receive Medical Assistance Treatment (mat), and Complete Peer Recovery Support. Encompassing These Programs Is Access to Behavioral Health Services to Address Mental Health Needs for Adults. a Critical Part of This Pilot Is Removing Cost as a Barrier to Care for 80 Intensive Residential Adult Clients and Mat Services for 125 Clients. Success Will Be Attributed to the Completion of a Full Spectrum of Programming That Is More Likely to Place Clients on a Path to Long-term Recovery in Waco and the Surrounding Communities in Mclennan County, Texas. the Project Will Encompass Client Outreach Services, Peer Recovery Support Services, Mat, and Intensive Residential Services. the Data Will Prove That Recovery Success Is More Likely When Approached Comprehensively and Without Cost Barriers. We Will Enhance Current Services Offering Counseling, Behavioral Therapies, Psychosocial Services, and Recovery Support Services. These Ebp’s Include Living in Balance, Seeking Safety, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. the Project Goals Are as Follows: Project Goal 1 Is to Serve 80 Clients in an Intensive Residential Program. Project Goal 2 Is to Serve 125 Clients Through Mat Services. Project Goal 3 Is to Provide Recovery Support Services to Achieve Client Level Outcomes: Diagnosis, Mental Health, Substance Abstinence and Misuse, Housing, Employment, Criminal Involvement, Social Connectedness, Risk Behaviors, and Hospitalizations. Project Goal 4 Is to Measure Co-occurring Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health for Improved Performance.
