Native Families Community Prevention - Intervention/prevention Community Program for Families Impacted by Opioid Use and Other Substance. - Community Awareness and Education. Esrp?s NMPC Will Engage Youth, Families, and Community in Evidence-based Prevention Efforts Including a Community Awareness Campaign That Helps Community Members Recognize the Signs of Misuse and Overdose. Other Topics Will Include How to Access Local Opioid-specific Services, How to Safeguard Controlled Prescription Medications From Children and Adolescents, How to Dispose Properly of Unused Controlled Prescription Medications. Communication Tools That Esrp Develops Will Be Culturally-appropriate and Follow Clas Standards, With a Focus on Youth and Families That Live on the WRR. Educational Resources Including Factsheets, Posters, and Other Materials Will Include the Esrp Logo, Shoshone Language, and Other Culturally-relevant Images. These Will Be Approved by the Cab and Esrp Team Prior to Distribution. Routine Evaluation and Data Collection Will Document Impact of Community Awareness and Education on Changes in Knowledge, Attitudes, and Beliefs Around Oud. Cab Members and Esrp Partners Will Assist With Dissemination of NMPC to Other Communities on the Reservation in Within Other Settings and Contexts (schools, DFS, Tanf, Etc.).
