Stockbridge-munsee Diabetes Prevention Program - the Stockbridge-munsee Diabetes Prevention Program Will Utilize Best Practices to Combat Increasing Rates of Obesity and Diabetes on the Reservation. Nutrition Education, Programming, and Individualized Support Will Be Provided, Along With Continued Support of Current Diabetes-targeted Medical Offerings Such as Glucose Readings and Diabetic Nurse Clinics. in Addition to the Above Activities, the Stockbridge-munsee Diabetes Prevention Program Will Develop Virtual Programming by Offering Recorded and Streamed Educational Materials Related to Diabetes. Finally, We Will Host a Number of Walking Events Throughout the Year. Physical Activity Programs Shall Be Implemented for People at Risk for Diabetes and People With Diabetes in the Stockbridge-munsee Community.
