Wilton Rancheria Special Diabetes Program - the Tribal Health Program Will Utilize the Funds From the Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI) to Support Their Efforts in Ensuring All Tribal Members and the Greater Community Are Equipped With Tools and Resources as They Navigate Their Individual Wellness Journey, Free of Diabetes. It Is the Vision of the Tribal Health Program to Create Health Warriors, Representing Different Families and All Walks of Life. We Understand in Order to Achieve an Eradication of This Disease From Our Community, We Must First Recognize That It Can Be Done. Second, We Must Equip Ourselves With Relevant Knowledge and Secure Appropriate Teachers to Inspire and Motivate Those Interested in Sharing the Responsibility of Eradicating This Disease From Our Community. and Third, We Must Push Forward in Bringing All Elements of Relative Healing to the Community. the Specific Funds Received From This Grant Will Provide a Good Foundation to Start Things Off. and With the Addition of Other Funding Sources, We Will Continue the Process of Eradicating Diabetes From Our Community.
