Application Purpose: the Award Goal Is to Expand Grtas Vehicle Fleet to a Minimum of 50 Units to Comply With the Guam 2030 Transportation Improvement Plan.; Activities Performed: to Procure 24 Pax Ada-complaint Cutaway Buses to Boost the Passenger Capacity of Grtas Fixed-route Service Vehicles. the Existing 14 Passenger Ada-complaint Cutaway Buses Currently Used Are Too Small.; Expected Outcomes: the Expected Outcome of Acquiring 24 Pax Ada-complaint Cutaway Buses Are as FOLLOWS:1.) the Vehicle Size Fits the Capacity Demand of Grtas Fixed-route SERVICE;2.) It Requires Fewer Bus Trips to Complete a Bus Trip in Order to Fulfill the Passenger DEMAND;3.) Theyre Able to Transport More Passengers Than a Smaller Bus Without Taking Up More Space on the ROAD;4.) Lower Carbon Emissions Per Passenger-mile TRAVELED;5.) a 24 Pax Bus Can Help Alleviate Traffic Congestion on Roads. a Single 24 Pax Bus Can Replace at Least Two 14 Pax Bus Reducing the Number of Vehicles on the Road and the Associated Traffic Congestion.
