Funding From Congressionally Directed Spending Will Be Used to Implement an Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) System That Will Hold All Patient Data and Manage the Daily Operations of the Clinic. This Ehr Will Also Enable the Center to Join Community Connect, a Regional Network That Links Albany Medical Center, Other Local Hospitals, Community Clinics and Private Practices Across the Region. This Network Will Offer Access and Continuity of Patient Health Information, Reduce the Number of Duplicative Services and Tests, and Improve Communication Between Providers.
