While This Program Will Serve Several Special Populations, Such as Providing Prevention and Support for Families of People At-risk or Suffering From Substance Use and Behavioral Health Challenges, This Program Is Intended to Be Able to Treat Anyone in Need. - What Percentage Is Native American: 0% - N/a Re: Tribal Populations Belknap Project Associates (bpa), the Primary Applicant for the Belknap Consortium Will Oversee the Implementation of a Regional Approach to Opioid and Other Substance Use Disorder and Behavioral Health Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Services in New Hampshire’s Rural Belknap County. the Geographic Service Area for This Proposal Includes 9 Towns and One City and Are All Designated as Eligible Rural Locations Under Hrsa’s Rural Eligibility Analyzer. the Population in This Region Is Challenged by Limited Service Options for Treatment and Recovery. the Target Population Is Approximately 64,000 Individuals That Primarily Come From Low Income, Economically Challenged Rural Communities With Pockets of Homelessness and Socioeconomic Disadvantage, Exacerbated by High Costs of Living, Challenging Transportation Conditions, and Limited Service Access. the Goal of This Project Is to Increase Regional Capacity to Meet Substantial Oud/sud and Behavioral Health Treatment Demand, Prioritize Needs of Individuals Experiencing Homelessness and Criminal Justice Involvement, Promote Awareness of Local Resources, and Strengthen Regional Behavioral Health Workforce Capacity. to Accomplish This, a Five-member Consortium Will Lead This Work to Develop New Initiatives and Expand Existing Efforts That Align With Community Needs and Priorities as Well as Required Rcorp Grant Activities. Bpa Has a Long-standing History of Responding to Emerging Community Needs and Has the Functional Infrastructure as a Mature Organization to Oversee a Project of This Scale.
