Project Period: 5 27 24-5 26 25PROJECT Title: Synthesizing Species Range Shift in a Changing Climate at a National Scaleproject SUMMARY:(1) Purpose: This Project Will Synthesize the State-of-the-art on Climate-mediated Species Movement to Advance Actionable Knowledge on Natural Resource Management Policies and Decision Making Under Climate CHANGE.(2) Activities to Be Performed: the Principal Investigator (PI) Will Lead the Development of a National Synthesis Research Effort Focused on Species Range Shifts at National and Regional Scales and Identify Research Priorities to Inform Actionable SCIENCE.(3) Deliverables and Expected Outcomes: a State of the Science Report Will Be Developed and Published. This Effort Will Benefit From Expertise From Within the Climate Adaptation Science Center Network and Will Deliver Rigorous and Actionable Science on the State of Knowledge on Species Range Shifts. in Addition, the Pi Will Develop a Final Project Report That Summarizes the Processes and Findings of the RESEARCH.(4) Intended Beneficiary(ies): the Target Audience Are Researchers in the Field of Species Range Shift Ecology as Well as Natural Resource Managers and Other Relevant Stakeholders.
