Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Procure Safety and Security Equipment and Scheduling Software to Improve Bus Stops to Provide Project Administration and to Fund One Year of Preventive Maintenance and Eligible Operating Expenses Such as Driver Salaries Fuel Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One-year.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover All Eligible Preventive Maintenance and Operating Expenses Such as Driver Salaries Fuel and Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year and the Purchase of Safety and Security Equipment and Scheduling Software. Additional Activities Include Bus Stop Improvements and Project Administration.; Expected Outcomes: the Funding Will Permit the Lake County Board of County Commissioners to Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards Continue to Provide Operations and Keep Rolling Stock Vehicles Safe and Secure While in a State of Good Repair.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Lake County Board of County Commissioners and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit From Continued Services Access to Work Medical Appointments and Essential Services.; Subrecipient Activities: None.
