Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Significant Funding for Eligible Capital Projects. the Funds Will Be Used for Preventive Maintenance for Ada Complementary Services and Streetcar Maintenance. Funds Will Also Be Used for the Following Projects: Associated Transit Improvements and Security Projects. the Ali That Will Be Used to Support the 1% and the Additional .75% Required by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill for Public Transportation Security Projects Is 11.32.07. the Ali That Will Be Used to Support the 1% for Associated Transit Improvements Projects Are 11.91.09 and 11.93.09.HART Has Elected to Use 20% of the FFY22 5307 Allocation ($18273456). Hart Confirms the Following Two Activities Are MET:1. Provides an Active Fixed-route Training Program That Is Available for Riders With DISABILITIES.2. Provides That All Fixed-route and Paratransit Operators Participate in a Passenger Safety Disability Awareness and Sensitivity Training Class on at Least a Biennial Basis.; Activities Performed: the Associated Transit Improvements Include the Design and Construction of Bus Bays/landing Pads; Tire Lease for Bus and Paratransit Vehicles; the Replacement of 5 CNG Buses and 15 Paratransit Vehicles That Have Reached Their Useful Life; Overhaul of 38 Buses; the Replacement of Computer Hardware and Software; the Rehab/build - Out of the Marion Transit Center for a Board Room/multi-purpose Room Which Includes the Purchase of New Audio Visual Equipment.; Expected Outcomes: the Projects Will Keep Assets in a Condition to Operate at Full Service Levels as Well as Improving the Delivery of Service to Patrons.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Beneficiaries Are Hart Patrons and Local Commuters.; Subrecipient Activities: None
