This Application Is to Request Section 5307 Funds Apportioned to Uza 127580 (homosassa Springs--beverly Hills--citrus Springs FL) in the Amount of $1008000. Transit Services Has Shown an Increase in Fuel Usage Over the Past 32 Months and With Our Location to the Gulf Coast We Must Be Prepared for Evacuations. the Total Cost of This Project Is Estimated to Be $2400000. Through Approximately 32 Months of Fuel Records It Has Been Determined That Transit Services Utilizes 42% of the Onsite Fuel Reserve on a Monthly Basis. Therefor We Are Requesting 42% of the Total Cost $1008000 With $252000 in Fdot Toll Revenue Credits.purpose: the Purpose of This Grant Award Is to Expand the Current On-site Fuel Facility. Currently the Site Holds 30000 Gallons With a Planned Expansion to Allow for a Total of 90000 Gallons. Activities to Be Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover All Eligible Expenses for Design and Construction of the On-sit Fuel Storage Expansion. the Expansion Will Add 4 Additional 15000 Gallon Tanks.expected Outcomes: Funds Will Allow Citrus County to Be Prepared for Natural Disasters and the Varying Supply of Fuel. With Our Proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and the Port of Tampa Hurricanes and Fuel Supply Disruptions Have Been Seen in Recent Years. Ensuring Public Transportation Is Always Available for Our Population Is the Main Purpose and Outcome of This Project.intended Beneficiaries: Citrus County Transit and the Community as a Whole Will Benefit From the Preparedness This Expansion Will Allow for. Subrecipient Activities: There Will Be No Subrecipients for This Project.the Required 1% of Funding Will Be Incorporated in the Design of the Project as Directed by the Design/engineering Firm Contracted by the County in Ali 114-00 11.43.04 (bus: Support Equip and Facilities Construction -storage Facility)citrus County Transit Meets the Eligibility Requirements as Outlined in 9030.1E as Public Transportation Provider in Area Less Than 200000 in Population. Citrus County Has Been Designated as a Direct Recipient of These Funds by Hernando/ Citrus Mpo.citrus County Florida Will Follow All 3RD Party Procurement Policies as Defined in C4220.1 (third Party Contacting Guidance).
