Crews Are Needed to Collect Conserve and Develop Native Plant Materials for Regionally Important Habitat Restoration Following Invasion by Exotic Species and or Impacts of Wildfire Across the Arid Southwest These Actions Stimulate Public Purposes Such as Education Job Training Development of Responsible Citizenship Productive Community Involvement Youth Experience and Furthering the Understanding and Appreciation of Natural Resources Through the Care and Enhancement of Public Resources Tucson Audubon Tas Has Been Working With Usfws NPS and Pima County Agencies to Mitigate the Impacts of Invasive Species Whilst Restoring the Native Habitat for Several Years Native Plant Material Development Leads to the Restoration of Habitats That Have Been Impacted by Wildfire and Benefits Communities and Natural Areas. the Tas Crew Is Skilled at Plant Identification and Can Discern Between Native and Non Native Plant Species and Follow Strict Seed Collection Protocols on Public Lands as Needed the Crew Will Be Used for Seed Collection Vegetation Surveys and Treatments to Assist With Restoration Projects Additionally Crew Members Can Assist With Other Duties as Assigned
