Farwide Conservation Trust (farwide) Will Cooperate With the U.s. Fish and Wildlife Service and Other Partners Interested in Restoring and Enhancing Wetland Habitats in the Texas Coastal Region. Through This Project, Farwide Will Work With Partners to Identify Potential Wetland Conservation Projects and Develop Preliminary Wetland Restoration and Enhancement Plans. Project Activities Will Include Coordinating With Any Potential Stakeholders to Determine Project Feasibility and Permitting Requirements, Potential Limitations on Project Development, and Potential Project Supporters and Funding Sources. the Primary Objective of This Project Is to Develop Preliminary Engineering and Design Plans for Wetland Conservation Projects That Can Then Be Used in Future Efforts to Fund and Complete Those Projects. Priority Projects Will Be Those That Serve to Fulfill the Main Goals of the Coastal Program: Priority Species Conservation, Habitat Connectivity and Creating Resilient Ecosystems.
