Incremental Funding Is Being Provided to Enable Collaborative With Indigenous Tribes Resource Protection Stewardship Interpretation Education and Outreach for the Desert National Wildlife Refuge Complex. This Agreement Will Encompass Work Required to Complete the Following Components of This Project. Tribal Collaboration and Event Coordination. Coordinate the Efforts for the Corn Creek Collaborative Restoration Project in Partnership With the Nuwu Nuwuvi Tribes. This Will Involve Organizing and Implementing Native Planting Events Stewardship of Habitats Conducting Virtual Planning Meetings Hosting a Final in Person Summary Meeting and Writing Editing and Reviewing Documents That Summarize the Activities and Results of the Project. Assist With Collaborative Initiatives With Newe Nuwu Nuwuvi Tribes and Supporting Tribal Programs and Activities. Work Will Include Coordinating Coordinating Activities for Tribal Members Programs for Public Events and Meetings With Agency Staff and Other Partners. Resource Protection Stewardship Interpretation Education and Outreach. Assist With Protecting Natural and Cultural Resources and Cultivating Awareness Appreciation and Stewardship Through Providing Interpretation Education and Outreach for a Diverse Public. Develop and Implement Stewardship Programs That Will Provide Ground Assistance With Habitat Restoration and Protection Efforts Provide Interpretation for Visitors and Lead Stewardship Projects Throughout the Project Period and Beyond. This Would Include Partnerships With Newe Nuwu Nuvuwi Western Shoshone Southern Paiute Chemehuevi Tribes Local Schools and Colleges and Ngos. Identify Suitable Stewardship Partners. Plan and Implement Stewardship Activities That Provide Hands on Assistance With Habitat Restoration and Protection Efforts. Develop and Implement Stewardship Activities That Will Provide Interpretation on the Important of Habitat Restoration and Protection for Visitors.
