This Project Will Develop a Fish Passage Management Plan for the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge.magurrewock Stream Flows Through the Refuge and Into the ST. Croix River. Moosehorn NWR Currently Maintains Impoundments to Provide Migratory Bird Habitat Along Magurrewock Stream. Recently There Has Been a Push to Enhance Fish Passage in the ST. Croix Watershed to Increase Access to Alewife Spawning Habitat. We Will Evaluate the Suitability and Productivity of the Impoundments for River Herring. Data Collected Will Be Used to Inform Management Decisions in the Future.
