Fish and Wildlife Service FWS Propose to Restore and Enhance Coastal Aquatic Ecosystems and Associated Watersheds in Support of Land Protection and Federal Trust Species in Coastal Georgia. in Addition Funding Components of This Project May Include Project Monitoring Easements on Donated Parcels and Due Diligence Activities in Future Land Acquisition Efforts. All Project Areas Will Benefit Federal Trust Species and Their Associated Habitats and Will Aid in Conserving and Connecting Corridors Between Focal Areas. Projects Will Identify Prioritize and Implement Habitat Improvement Habitat Connectivity Flora and Fauna Restoration Riparian Buffer Protection Floodplain Restoration and Restoration of Natural Hydrology. an Additional Benefit of These Priority Actions Is an Increase in Resiliency to Populated Areas and Environmental Resources Along the South Atlantic Coast.
