The Motus Wildlife Tracking System (motus Www.motus.org) Is an International Collaborative Research Network That Uses Automated Radio Telemetry to Track the Movements and Behaviors of Tagged Flying Organisms From Local to Trans-hemispheric Scales. It Allows Scientists and Practitioners to Track Birds- Bats- and Insects Over the Greatest Distances With High Precision. Motus Is a Program of the Non-profit Conservation Organization Birds Canada in Partnership With Collaborating Researchers- Organizations and Individuals.this Project Will Support Technology Development at Birds Canadas Motus Wildlife Tracking System and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Integrate the Receiver and Tag Technology (including Tag Code Sets- Sensor Data- and Workflows for Receiver Satellite Data Connectivity) Into the Motus Database and Server Processes. the Motus Database Serves as the Central Data Processing Hub and Repository- Allowing Any Motus Tag to Be Detected on Any Motus Station Throughout the Network (birds Canada 2022)- Disseminated to Researchers and Practitioners- and Made Discoverable Through the Motus Website and Data Portals (e.g. Rpackage). This Effort Would Address the New Pipeline of Data From the Goes DCS Network and Could Include Architectural Development of New Open-source DCS Modules for Streamlined Connectivity Between the DCS Databases and Motus.

Everything here is this single award's whole record — signed, amended, paid — not a fiscal-year slice. The by-year charts elsewhere split an award across the years it was committed; this page keeps it whole.
Committed is what the government has legally promised on this award so far. Contracts can also carry a ceiling — the maximum if every option is exercised. Unspent ceiling is headroom, not money owed.
The cash actually disbursed against this award. The gap from committed is the disbursement pipeline: promised, not yet cashed.
Each transaction is a signing event — an action that created or changed the award, dated the day it was signed — not a payment. Negative amounts are real: money de-committed at closeout or renegotiation.
One bar, the award’s whole arithmetic: paid out, then committed, not yet paid, then .
