Funds Will Be Used for Design, Engineering, and Construction Phases at Two Arkansas Game and Fish Commission(agfc) State Fish Hatcheries. Crucial Updates Are Needed to Existing Infrastructure to Ensure the Futureoperation of the Facilities and Fish Production. This Project Aims to Increase the Sustainability of the Wateruse Associated With Fish Production by Modernizing How Water Is Used, Captured, Then Reused Within Thefacilities. Facility Renovations Include Updates to the Spawning Buildings, Water Reuse Recirculationcapabilities, Updates to Hatchery Ponds, and Upgrades to Water Lines. These Renovations Will Increase Agfcsability to Produce Fish for Stocking More Efficiently and Sustainably. It Will Allow Us to Maintain and Increasefishing Opportunities for Arkansans, Underserved Communities, and Visitors to the State.
