(4) Education and Outreach: (a) Implement a Communication and Awareness Program With General Public From the City of San Cristobal, About the Importance of Montetik Park and Ejido Forests, as Providing Water to the People, Natural Resources, Places for Recreation, Among Many Other Environmental Services (B) Implement a School Program to Work With Teachers (3) and Children (50) of Ejido Schools, Using the Tale of Chipilo Crisopario, a Tale About the Full-life Cycle of Gcwa That Was Translated (in Phase Iv of This Project) Into Tsotsil, the Indigenous Language of La Albarrada: and (C) Train and Equip 3 Communitarian Monitors to Survey Birds and Biodiversity, as Well as Be Birdwatching Guides. (5) Research and Monitoring to: (a) Document the Ecology of Gcwa During Migration, Along Its Corridor on Sierra Madre Oriental in Mexico (B) Evaluate Opportunities for Conservation on This Important Stage of the Annual Cycle of the Species and (C) Evaluate the State of Fragmentation of Gcwa Winter Habitat in Mexico.
