The South Carolina Conservation Bank (SC Conservation Bank) and Its Conservation Partners Request 1,000,000 From the National Coastal Wetlands Conservation Program for the South Carolina Forestry Commission (SCFC) to Add 2,180 Acres of Forested Land on the Santee River to the Wee Tee State Forest by Acquiring the RMS Wadmacon Tract (property). the Property Is Almost Entirely Palustrine Forested Wetland Floodplain From Dawhoo Lake and Wadmacon Creek to the Santee River, Which Generally Form the Property S Northern and Southern Boundaries. the Southern Boundary Is Over 2 River Miles on the Santee That Directly Build on 3,857 Acres Conserved With FY21 Ncwcg Funds and the 12,600 Acre Wee Tee State Forest. This Project Is Ready to Implement and Includes Bargain Sale Donated Land Value, Cash Reducing the Federal Share, and Broad Partnerships That Benefit Wildlife and Coastal Wetland Habitats.
