Ducks Unlimited (DU) Is Submitting This Proposal Requesting Funding From the Us Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Gulf Restoration Office (GRO) to Support Implementation of the Coastal Marsh Restoration at Dressing Point, Part of the Big Boggy National Wildlife Refuge (NWR). the Primary Objective Is to Install a Rock Breakwater Around the Island to Reduce Loss of Area Due to Erosion. Ducks Unlimited Will Partner With the Texas Mid-coast NWR Complex, FWS Coastal Program, and Gro Staff to Accomplish the Project Objectives Identified Below for Dressing Point Island. Services Provided by Du Will Include Project Planning Activities, Selection and Management of Contractors, and Technical Support.
