Mobilizegreen Will Work With Patuxent National Wildlife Refuge Staff to Develop and Run a Summer Conservation Service Program for High School Youth Starting in June 2023. Mobilizegreen Will Recruit a Crew Leader, and 4 Crew Members, Who Will Work on an 8-WEEK Summer Crew at Patuxent. the Crew Will Work on a Variety of Projects at the Refuge That Will Include: Habitat Restoration Through Fence Removal, Beautification, Gardening, Painting and Lite Carpentry. Projects Will Be Completed Under the Guidance of the Usfws Patuxent Team and Will Improve Both Wildlife Habitat and the Visitor Experience at the Refuge. Integrated Into the Program Will Be Environmental Education Lessons. the Crew Leader Will Use the Mobilizegreen Youth Curriculum to Design and Deliver Experiential Learning Opportunities in Environmental Education, Professional Development, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Leadership and Stewardship. the Crews May Also Participate in Outdoor Recreation Activities in and Around the Refuge.
