Hispanic Accessfoundations Vision for Their Mano Project Initiative Is to Build a Strong Number of Inspired,skilled, Culturally, Ethnically, and Economically Diverse Young People Who Have Experiencednatural Resource Internships With the Us Fish and Wildlife Service. These Internships Could Lead Toa Potential Career With the Service, Resulting in a Diverse Workforce of Conservationists That Is Trulyreflective of the Community and Overall Population.our Objective for This Program Aligns With the Government-wide Strategic Plan to Advance Diversity,equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) in the Federal Workforce. Our Program Wouldspecifically Target Three Deia Priorities: 1) Promoting Paid Internships by Removing Barriers Forlow-income and First-generation Professionals and Reducing Reliance on Unpaid Internships Andexpanding Paid Internship Opportunities 2) Partnerships and Recruitment: Partnering With Hispanicaccess Mano Project to Recruit Students People of Color for Developmental Internships to Build Amore Diverse Pipeline Into Public Service and 3) Professional Development and Advancement:advancing Equity and Transparency in Professional Development Opportunities.
