The Purpose of This Cooperative Agreement Is to Establish a Working Partnership Between the Service and the Colorado Wildlife Heritage Foundation Recipient for the Purpose of Promoting Conservation on Private Lands Through Habitat Conservation Projects. Funds Under This Award Are to Be Used to Facilitate Conservation Work That Is Mutually Beneficial to Both Parties. This Partnership Will Provide Support for Conservation of Privately-owned Lands in Moffat County, Colorado, Through Cost-sharing of Conservation Practices. Conservation Practices Jointly Implemented by the Service and the Colorado Wildlife Heritage Foundation Will Include, But Not Limited to Aerial Application of Rejuvra Herbicide to Control Cheatgrass and Other Invasive Plants. All Projects Will Be Facilitated by Site-specific Private Landowner Agreements as Approved and Administered by the Service. Habitat Conservation Projects Will Benefit Habitat Goals and Objectives Identified Within the Colorado Partners for Fish and Wildlife Strategic Plan, Priority Sagebrush Obligate Birds Identified by the Service's Sagebrush Ecosystem Team, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife State Action Plan for Big Game Migration and Winter Range.
