1 Purpose the Chesapeake Conservancy Is a Co Convener of the Chesapeake Conservation Partnership CCP With the National Park Service NPS Chesapeake Office the CCP Was Founded in 2009 and Is a Large Landscape Collaborative Promoting the Conservation and Restoration of Valuable Lands Throughout the Chesapeake Bay the CCP Will Serve as the Organization of Diverse Agencies and Organizations That Will Collaborate With the Service to Build Capacity of Chesapeake Watershed Investments for Landscape Defense Program Wild and Ensure Available Funding Addresses Shared Restoration and Conservation Priorities 2 Activities the Conservancy Through the CCP Will Convene Orientation and Foundational Meetings on a Monthly Basis Additional Activities Include Recommendations Related to Annual Grant Solicitations Development of Outreach and Engagement Practices and Policies Establishment of a Shared and Comprehensive Strategy for Sustaining Natural Resources and Human Communities Throughout the Chesapeake Region and Development of an Annual Work Plan, and Guidelines and Procedures Wild Meetings 3 Deliverables Regular Meetings Recommendations Regarding Wild Solicitations Publicize Wild Solicitations Recommendations on Wild Grant Cycles Recommendations and Implementation of Practices and Policies to Aid Stakeholders in Understanding the Needs, Roles, Shared Objectives, and Communal Values That Will Drive Collaboration Development of and Support for Broader Stakeholder Engagement Provide Materials for Community Distribution as Needed Produce Press Releases, Social Media Posts, Etc Development and Circulation of a Framework on a Shared and Comprehensive Strategy for Sustaining Natural Resources and Human Communities Requests to Post the Strategy Periodically Review and Recommended Changes to the Comprehensive Strategy Development and Implement of an Annual Work Plan Guidelines and Procedures to Guide the Conduct of Wild Meetings 4 Expected Outcomes Wild Is Implemented to Achieve the Goals Under Its Five Pillars Wild Coordinates With Federal, State, Local, and Regional Organizations, and Conservation Partners Clear Understanding of the Needs, Roles, Shared Objectives, and Communal Values That Will Drive Collaboration and Effective Work a Culture That Values Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Accessible Practices and Policies in Its Deliberations, Advice, and Recommendations an Annual Work Plan to Drive Annual Activities and Determine Success Support of a Comprehensive Watershed Wide Strategy Sustaining Science Based Activities Targeting Cost Effective Projects With Measurable Results 5 Intended Beneficiaries Conservation Stakeholders in the Chesapeake Bay WATERSHED6 Sub Recipient Activities There Is No Expected Sub Recipient Activity
