This Project Consists Primarily of Demographic Monitoring, GPS Location Tracking, Vegetation Sampling and Analysis, and Habitat Modeling and Analysis for Multiple Rare Plant Species on Avon Park Air Force Range, Highlands and Polk Counties, Florida. Other Related Aspects of the Project Will Include Compilation of Rare Plant Location Data Over Multiple Years of Surveys, Data Collection on New or Poorly Known Rare Plant Species, and Post-fire Monitoring of Plant Regrowth and Habitat Changes in Relationship to Fire Frequency and Seasonality. This Project Will Also Include Work on the Regional Context of the Rare Plant Species and Habitats at Avon Park Air Force Range, and Their Signficance to the Preservation of Biodiversity in Central Florida.products Will Include Gis Files of Rare Plant Locations, Demographic Monitoring Point Locations, Spreadsheets of Monitoring Data, Spreadsheets or Databases of Rare Plant Habitat and Post-fire Monitoring Data, and Reports on Project Results and Their Significance to Local and Regional Rare Plant Conservation.
