The Goal of the Completed Project Is to Provide Usfws With an Updated Draft in ( 1) Year and a Final Draft Whooping Crane International Recovery Plan Update (PLAN) Within (2.5) Years of the Project's Initiation. Updates Will Include Revising the Plan's Vision, Conservation Mission, Threats to Be Ameliorated, and a Recovery Strategy Outline. Revisions Will Be Objectively Made to Recovery Criteria ( Downlisting and Delisting) as Measurable Thresholds to Gauge Recovery Progress. Recovery Actions Will Be Revised Along With Estimates of Time and Cost for Achieving Both Downlisting and Delisting Goals and for Strategically Meeting the Recovery Vision. Icf Will Utilize the Population Viability Analysis (PV a) Report Along With the Draft Species Status Assessment (SSA) to Draft a Revised Recovery Plan. Following a Rigorous Review of the Plan's Update, It Will Be Submitted to Usfws. International Crane Foundation Will Respond to Public and Usfws Comments Received, Suggested Plan Modifications and Edits, and Undertake All Required Revisions. a Final Draft Plan Will Be Submitted to Usfws Within the Allotted Project Performance Period. a Workshop Will Be Scheduled to Assist in the Revision of the Plan, and an Additional Workshop Scheduled to Respond to Both Public Comments and Those Generated by the Usfws Team. the Applicant Will Engage the Services of an Independent Contractor for Providing Additional Technical and Population Modeling Expertise, and With Having Previous Whooping Crane Conservation Planning Experience and Relevancy That Are Intended to Inform the Plan's Updates and Revisions.
