Gulf Coast Joint Venture Biological Team Leader: the Gulf Coast Joint Venture Management Board Created a Biological Team Leader (BTL) Position to Coordinate Conservation Planning, Evaluation and Research Activities to Influence Strategic Delivery of Priority Waterfowl Habitat Conservation Within the Gulf Coast Joint Venture Geography. the Biological Team Leader Performs These Duties and Works Toward: 1) Updating the GCJV Biological Plans and Habitat Objectives to Reflect Newly Available Scientific Information; 2) Organizing and Chairing a Waterfowl Working Group That Provides Technical Guidance on Priority Conservation and Science in Support of Waterfowl Habitat Objectives; and 3) Designing and Assisting Evaluation and Research Activities in the GCJV Region. the Above Needs Are Critical to Facilitating Effective and Efficient Conservation Delivery in the GCJV Region and Meeting Objectives of the Nawmp.
