This Eda Investment Will Fund Western Dakota Technical College's Rural Access to Medical Programming (project Ramp) Which Will Attempt to Alleviate Critical Labor Shortages in Nursing and Other Health Occupations That Are Sorely Needed in Rural Western South Dakota Through a Focus on Workforce Training and Education Programming. the Project Will Provide Mobile Simulation Lab Courses Which Will Bring Practical Training to Rural Areas of the State With a Focus on Nursing and Other Medical Professions. the Eda Funds Will Help Alleviate Critical Nursing Shortages and Enhance Community Resilience to Disasters by Helping to Train and Retain Local Talent by Creating a Sustainable Pipeline of Skilled Medical Professionals That Addresses These Critical Labor Gaps.
