The Illinois Epa Office of Energy Will Utilize State Energy Program (SEP) Funding to Maintain Our Administrative Support Needs of Our Various Programs to Best Leverage All Available State, Federal and Private Dollars. a Primary Strategy for the Illinois Epa Office of Energy Is to Solicit and Develop Partnerships and Networks to Expand and Leverage Our Ability to Reach Targeted Audiences. the Illinois Epa Will Maintain an Efficient Operating Environment Consistent With State and Federal Legal and Administrative Requirements, and Will Coordinate the Procurement, Allocation and Management of the Agency's Financial and Physical Resources in Support of Program Goals and Objectives. the Illinois Epa Office of Energy Has Refined Its Performance Measures to Unify State and Federal Reporting Requirements Using a Standardized Approach to Calculating Energy/cost Savings. It Has Become Increasingly Important to Seek Leveraged Funding From Other State and Private¿resources. the Sep Plan Has Been Developed as an Integral Part of the Operation of the Illinois Epa Office of Energy and Must Be Reviewed and Evaluated as Part of an Overall Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Program. the PY25/FY26 Illinois Sep Plan Is Comprised of the Following Funded Sep Activities:¿ 1.) Illinois Public Water Infrastructure Energy Program 2.) Illinois Energy Codes Training 3.) Illinois State Energy Assurance Planning 4.) Energy Program Administration 5.) Energy Efficiency and Energy Innovation in Public Facilities 6.) Illinois Clean Energy Revolving Investment Fund 7.)¿K-12 and Higher Education Energy Curriculum/projects Each Sub-award and Partnership Agreement Includes Timeline Driven Milestones, Tangible Deliverables, and Quarterly/annual Performance Measures Consistent With Sep Derived Metrics. Some Examples of Program Metrics Implemented and Used to Measure Illinois Epa Office of Energy Achievements Include: Number of People Trained in the Illinois Energy Conservation Code; Annual Reduction in Electricity Consumption by Pwi Facilities Participating in the Illinois Pwi Ee Program; and Annual Reduction in Greenhouse Gas (CO2 Equivalents) by Participating Pwi Facilities.
