The Objective of the Project Is to Develop and Demonstrate an Electric Truck-as- A-service (ETAAS) Etas Project and Business Model That Is Both Technologically and Organizationally Innovative, Replicable Across Jurisdictions, Addresses Equity Concerns, Accelerates Emission Reductions From Medium and Heavy-duty Fleets, and Addresses the Capital Cost (i.e., Affordability) Concerns Faced by Small to Medium Sized Businesses. the Demonstration Will Feature at Least Five Small Private Fleet Operators, Three Charging Hubs, at Least 15 Electric Trucks, 18 DC Fast Charger (DCFC) Ports, and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
