In This Project, the Town of Gorham Plans to Develop and Own a Solar Photovoltaic Project on the Rooftop of the Public Works Garage. the Photovoltaic Project at the Public Works Garage Will Be Sized at Approximately 70.4 Kilowatts (KW) DC of Generation Capacity, Which Is Estimated to Offset 100% of the Electrical Load of the Building and Produce Additional Electricity to Be Group Net Metered to the Fire Station and Town Hall. This Project Is Estimated to Offset 100% of the Electricity Usage at the Public Works Garage and the Net Metered Excess Electricity to the Fire Station and Town Hall. This Project Will Serve as a Demonstration for Other Municipal Facilities in Gorham and Northern NH.
