The Objectives of This Project Are to Perform a Series of Laboratory and Practical Field Tests on Hi-fidelity, Prototype Modular Arrays and Sub-assemblies to Assess the Risks of Transportation and Installation Damage, Refine the Design to Address Any Shortcomings Related to Damage Robustness, and Then Perform a Field Validation Exercise to Gather Input Data Used to Estimate Improvements to Lcoe (levelized Cost of Electricity). While the Prototype Array Will Have All of the Elements of an Operational Array, It Is Not the Objective of This Project to Assess Health Monitoring Features or Energy Production.
