American Center for Mobility – New Competitive Award Under DE-FOA-0002784: Exploratory Topics Control #: 2784-1823 Measurement of Energy Efficiency Through Track Testing Within Augmented Reality Integrated Simulations for Cav System (metrics)”. the Project Objectives Are: I) to Demonstrate Conversion of Dilute CO2 (400 PPM) to Ethanol, Using Their Novel Taylor-flow Reactors, With Min. 60% Selectivity (faradaic Efficiency) at Max. 2V of Full Cell Voltage, Being the Critical Process Metrics to Yield the Fuel Cost of $0.03/MJ; Ii) to Develop and Integrate New Anion Exchange Membrane Formulation, Which Will Allow for a Long-term Dynamic Operation Without Performance Loss; Iii) Scale-up of the Complete Process to Convert Renewable Electricity to Liquid Fuels (including Electrochemical Reactor, Vacuum Membrane Separation, Complimentary Units). They Aim to Demonstrate Min. 200 Cumulative Hours of Intermittent Testing, Following the Electricity Load Given in the Foa Fig 2. Iv) Develop a Technology-to-market Strategy for the Entire Air-to-ethanol Process, Which Can Be Flexibly Deployed at Any Renewable Energy Production Site (no Need to Supply/purchase CO2).

Everything here is this single award's whole record — signed, amended, paid — not a fiscal-year slice. The by-year charts elsewhere split an award across the years it was committed; this page keeps it whole.
Committed is what the government has legally promised on this award so far. Contracts can also carry a ceiling — the maximum if every option is exercised. Unspent ceiling is headroom, not money owed.
The cash actually disbursed against this award. The gap from committed is the disbursement pipeline: promised, not yet cashed.
Each transaction is a signing event — an action that created or changed the award, dated the day it was signed — not a payment. Negative amounts are real: money de-committed at closeout or renegotiation.
One bar, the award’s whole arithmetic: paid out, then committed, not yet paid, then .
