Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Financial Assistance for Replacement Vehicles Preventive Maintenance and a Number of State of Good Repair Activities for Union Station and Roberts ST Facilities Security Improvements and Miscellaneous Equipment and It Services.; Activities Performed: Activities to Be PERFORMED:(1) Replacement of Paratransit Vehicles. the District Anticipates Purchasing Approximately 35 Vehicles to Replace Those That Will Have Met Their Useful Life. the Total Cost of Rolling Stock Will Be Inclusive of Vehicle Inspection Services. the Vehicle Type Is to Be Determined. If Electric Paratransit Vehicles Are Available the District Will Explore Those Options. If Not the District Anticipates Purchasing: Twenty -five (25) 22-FT/12-PASSENGER/4 Wheelchair Cutaway Paratransit Vehicles Ten (10) Ford Transit Accessible Vans. (2) Safety and Preventative Maintenance Repairs to Union Station One Union Place Hartford CT (which Are Consistent With the Ghtds 2017 Master Plan (attached.): General State of Good Repair Activities: These Could Include Soft Spot Repairs in Floors Replacement of Broken Windows Elevator Repairs; Etc. Hvac Replacement (a/e Firm Was Hired Under the 2022 Grant to Develop the Design/drawings/bid Documents) - the Anticipated Cost Is $2.8 Millionreplacement of Mechanisms for Transportation Center Automatic Doors (approximately 6 Mechanisms) Repair and Refinish Wooden Doors (interior and Exterior) Update Restrooms in Peter Pan Tenant Area Signage and Graphics/decals Charging Stations and Electrical Work (approximately 4 at Spruce ST LOT)(3) Safety and Preventative Maintenance Repairs to 148 Roberts Street East Hartford CT (including):general State of Good Repair Activities: Such as Equipment Repairs and Purchases; Camera Repairs; Garage Door Repairs; Maintenance Area Repairs; Etc.) Additional Lighting (SOLAR) for the Rear Parking Lot Equipment for Ev MAINTENANCE(4) Funding Under This Project Will Be Used for the FY23 Element of the Districts Scheduled Capital Equipment Upgrade Consisting Of:it Equipment / Replacement Schedule Required to Replace Old Servers Computers Etc. Trapeze Upgrade to the Most Recent Version of Software. Supervisory Vehicles (accessible Vans With Side Lift) Alignment Machine On-care Brake Lathe Wash Bay Oil Heaters (2) Large Ceiling Fans and Installation (3 Fans) Replacement Furniture at Roberts ST Vehicle Camera Storage (increase Retention to 34 Days) MDT Replacement (tablets and Trapeze Drivertmate) in Addition Grant Management and Project Management Activities Will Take Place as Part of the Implementation of This Application and Its Scope of Work.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit GHTD to Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards and Maintain Ghtds Fleet and Facilities in a State of Good Repair.
