This Application Utilizes Arp Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus. the Application Scope of Work Includes: Operating Assistance to Support Public Transit Operations in the Norwich/new London Uza Preventive Maintenance Capital to Maintain a State of Good Repair for the Districts Rolling Stock and Facilities.in Accordance With Ftas Circulars 9040.1G and 9030.1E Preventive Maintenance Activities Are Considered Operating Costs.purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Support Operating Assistance and Preventive Maintenance Activities for Seat.activities to Be Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating and Preventive Maintenance Expenses for Seats Fixed Route and Demand Services. Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Seat to Continue With Operations and Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards to Keep Rolling Stock Vehicles and Facilities in a State of Good Repair. Intended Beneficiaries: This Funding Will Allow Seat to Continue in Providing Reliable Responsive and Safe Transportation to the Public in the Greater Norwich-new London Urbanized Area. Subrecipient Activities: Nonesoutheast Area Transit District Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Providing by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.the Recipient Certifies That It and Its Subrecipients and Contractors That Are Providers of Public Transportation Have Not Furloughed Any Employees Since March 27 2020 (the Enactment Date of the Cares Act).activities in This Award Will Begin on October 1 2022 and Will Continue Until Spent. the Norwich-new London CT Split/suballocation Letter Is Attached in Trams. This Award Will Obligate 100% of Seats Arp Funding. Seat Operating and Preventive Maintenance Activities Will Support Safety and Therefore Satisfy the 1% Requirement Under the Arp Section 5307 Urbanized Area Program. This Application Includes Only Operations Planning And/or Capital Projects With No Substantial Functional Location or Capacity Change. Per Arp the Project(s) in This Application Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan Statewide Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
