Application Purpose: All Funds Are Allocated to Preventative Maintenance. Seat Currently Has 3 Engines on Order for an Immediate Need and at Least 1 More Engine Needed and Other Large Components. Due to a Delay in the Vendor Supplying the Engines and Delays for Other Components Additional Time Is Needed to Complete Finalizing the Procurements. Once the Engines and Components Arrive Then This Award Will Be Ready to Be Closed Out.; Activities Performed: This Grant Was Just Approved for a Budget Revision Across Existing Scopes Placing All Remaining Funds in Scope 117-00 Ali 11.7A.00 for Preventative Maintenance. Seat Has a Purchase Request for 3 Bus Engines Placed With Cummins Sales Service as We Have an Immediate Need for These Engines With a Cost of $168000. Through Past History and Through Word From Cummins There Will Be a Delay of Approximately 90 Days or More for Each of These Engines Sequentially. the Remaining Funds of This Award Will Be Used for Either a 4TH Engine That Is Needed But Not Immediately or for Other Large Components as They Are Needed. Due to the Delay(s) Placed on Seat by the Vendor a Request to Extend the Performance Period Is Being Made.; Expected Outcomes: to Fulfill the Life Expectancy of the Buses Needed for Servicing the Ridership.; Intended Beneficiaries: Continued Service to the Community and Continued Ridership; Subrecipient Activities: None
