Purpose:mesa County Is Using FFY21 5307 Small Urban Area Formula Funding in the Amount of $1912603 (full Apportionment) for Grand Valley Transit (gvt).activities to Be PERFORMED:FFY21 5307 Funds Will Be Used to Cover Fixed Route Operating Assistance Preventive Maintenance Ada Paratransit Operating Assistance and Security Expenditures for GVT. Expected Outcomes:these Formula Funds Will Maintain Service Levels for Mesa County Transit Services.intended Beneficiaries:mesa County Riders Mostly Include the Transportation Disadvantaged (including the Elderly and Disabled) for Access to Employment Education Medical Shopping and Personal Trips. Complementary Paratransit Service Under Ada Regulations Is Provided. Based on Our Ridership Survey Completed in 2015 58% of Riders Have an Annual Household Income of Less Than $15000 and 14% Are 55 Years of Age or Older.subrecipient Activities:noneprogram Requirements:- 1% of the FY21 Apportionment Is Dedicated to Security ($19126 Federal)- 20% of the FY21 Apportionment Is Used for Ada Paratransitsupporting Documentation:- Tip/stip- Long Range Plan- Upwp- Governors Split Letterlocal Funds Are Derived From an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) Between Mesa County Grand Junction Fruita and Palisade and Are From the General Funds of Each Entity.
