Community Project Funding/congressionally Directed Spending - Construction - the DR. William Toth Health Center Opened in 1956 and Is Located at 80 Idlewild Road, Edison, NJ 08817. This Project Is Overseen by the Business Administrator of Edison Township, Sonia Alves-viveiros, 732-248-7298, Salves-viveiros@edisonnj.gov. Edison Township’s Website Is Https://www.edisonnj.org/. the Township Is Making Improvements and Renovations to the Building Which Will Then Be Called the DR. William Toth Health and Senior Center (“toth Center”). the Toth Center Will Be Expanded 3,000 SQ. FT. to Create Additional Spaces for Senior Citizens to Socialize, Engage, and Learn, as Well as to Provide Our Senior Population With the Health Services They Need to Provide a Higher Quality of Life. the 3,000 SQ. FT. Addition Will Be Built Upon the Existing Structure While Updates Take Place Throughout the Entire Toth Center. the Goal of the Expansion and Renovation of the Toth Center Is to Have a Space With an Improved Layout to Increase Efficiency to Serve Additional Residents With Health Services, While the Addition of the Senior Center Will Provide a Long-overdue Second Senior Center in the Township. the Senior Center Space Will Allow for Senior to Be Served Hot, Fresh Meals; Hold Informational Meetings/sessions; and Simply Socialize and Engage With One Another. the Renovated Area Will Ensure That the Township Can Provide Additional Health Services to Additional Residents.
